Job Description

We are looking for an experienced

General Builder

to join our delivery team on a range of

residential and commercial projects

across the South East. This is a labour-only role with materials supplied, offering consistent work on well-managed sites.

The successful candidate will be capable of

leading works on site

, coordinating with other trades, and delivering high-quality workmanship to programme.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out a wide range of general building works including: Demolition and strip-out Brickwork and blockwork Joinery (1st and 2nd fix) Plastering and making good Basic groundworks and concreting Act as the

lead operative on site

when required Work independently or as part of a wider site team Coordinate day-to-day activities with subcontractors and specialist trades Ensure works are completed safely, to specification, and to programme Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment Communicate effectively with site management and clients where necessary

Requirements

Proven experience as a

general builder

across multiple trades Comfortable working

alone or managing small teams

Ability to read and work from drawings and specifications Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Own tools

suitable for general building works

Own transport

and willingness to travel regionally Valid

CSCS card

(preferred)

Clear DBS check required

(or willingness to obtain one) UTR number and ability to work under

CIS

What We Offer

Day rate of

200 - 250

, depending on experience and capability Materials supplied -
