We are seeking a skilled and versatile Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of construction skills and be capable of working on various building projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other tradespeople. As a Builder, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to high standards of quality and safety.
Duties
Carry out carpentry tasks, including framing, installing doors and windows, and constructing structures.
Perform roofing duties, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of roofing systems.
Execute construction painting tasks, providing finishing touches to enhance the aesthetic appeal of buildings.
Engage in plumbing work, including the installation and repair of piping systems.
Undertake masonry tasks such as bricklaying and stonework for structural integrity.
Conduct welding operations for metal structures and components as needed.
Apply electrical experience to assist with wiring and installation of electrical systems.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for various construction activities.
Participate in fabrication processes to create custom components for specific projects.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, welding, or electrical work is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to construction tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues on-site.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
A valid driver's licence may be required for travel between job sites.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
