Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of building tasks, ensuring projects are completed to high standards of quality and safety. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilising a range of construction skills and tools. Duties

Construct, repair, and renovate structures using carpentry, masonry, roofing, and other building techniques Install and maintain plumbing and electrical systems in accordance with safety standards Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks Perform construction painting and finishing work to achieve desired aesthetic results Fabricate components on-site as required for specialised projects Assist with the installation of roofing materials and waterproofing systems Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and project specifications Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other tradespeople to ensure timely completion of projects Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each phase of construction

Skills

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or related construction trades Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and construction painting techniques is desirable Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools for various building tasks Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints accurately Strong fabrication skills for custom component creation on-site Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy materials safely Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse construction environments

Pay: 33,000.00-37,000.00 per year
