Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to various building projects, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a broad range of construction skills in a dynamic environment, supporting the realisation of residential and commercial developments. The ideal applicant will have experience across multiple trades and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We work for multiple different contractors and operate all over the country. The right candidates will be willing to travel to different locations throughout the week with the potential of the occasional overnight stays depending on location of works.

Duties

Construct, install, repair, and maintain structures using carpentry, masonry, roofing, and other building techniques Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks accurately Perform construction painting to prepare surfaces for finishing or protection Install plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and fittings in accordance with specifications Carry out electrical work where qualified, ensuring compliance with safety standards Fabricate components on-site as required for custom builds or repairs Assist with welding tasks to join metal components securely Conduct site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and safety regulations Collaborate with team members and project managers to meet deadlines and project specifications

Experience

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, or general construction roles Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, welding, and fabrication processes is highly desirable Familiarity with the use of hand tools and power tools in a construction setting Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately Previous experience working on residential or commercial building projects is advantageous Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail and safety compliance
