Job Summary

Here at Tch we are looking to operate a professional building/maintenance team carrying out property maintenance, repairs, conversions and extensions for our selves We're looking for an experienced, reliable builder/handyman to join us , delivering high-quality work.

Key responsibilities:

Carry out general property maintenance and repairs (internal and external) Work on small- to medium-sized conversions and extensions Brickwork, blockwork and basic structural tasks Carpentry/joinery: doors, skirting, stud walls, basic fitted work Plastering, rendering, patch repairs and finishing Tiling (floor and wall), flooring installation and repairs Basic plumbing and electrical tasks (non-certified where appropriate) and liaison with specialists for certified work Roofing repairs, guttering and fascias Measuring, material ordering and site preparation Maintain clean and safe work areas and tools Liaise professionally with clients and project managers; complete job paperwork and timesheets
Person specification / skills and experience:

Proven building/handyman experience (minimum 3 years preferred) Good all-round practical skill across trades listed above NVQ/City & Guilds qualifications desirable but not essential CSCS card or equivalent preferred Full UK driving licence Ability to work independently and as part of a small team Strong communication, punctuality and attention to detail Good problem-solving skills and ability to manage time and jobs efficiently References from recent employers or clients
