Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to a variety of building projects, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and safety. Responsibilities

Assist in the construction, renovation, and maintenance of residential buildings. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks. Carry out carpentry, roofing, masonry, basic plumbing work, and structural alteration tasks as required. Collaborate with team members and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications. Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe working environment. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately. Assist in the installation of fixtures, fittings, and structural components.

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing & kitchen installation work or related trades. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in construction settings. Knowledge of fabrication processes and ability to work with various materials. Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints effectively. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods. Relevant certifications or licences are desirable but not essential. A commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship.
