We are seeking a skilled and motivated General Builder/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute construction tasks.
Construct, install, repair, and restore structures using various materials including wood, metal, concrete, and stucco.
Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machines, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
Perform framing work such as metal stud framing, wood framing, and heavy timber construction.
Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, siding, roofing components, and flooring with precision.
Conduct surface preparation including plastering, caulking, painting, and water damage restoration to ensure quality finishes.
Assist with masonry tasks like rebar installation, concrete forming, tile laying, and masonry repairs.
Read blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements; adapt plans as needed during construction.
Support remodeling projects by installing drywall, flooring, trim carpentry including door hanging and cabinet installation.
Ensure safety compliance on-site by adhering to safety protocols related to heavy lifting, scaffolding, electrical work, plumbing, and other construction activities.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
Proven experience in general construction or carpentry roles with a strong background in framing, trim carpentry, roofing, and restoration work.
Proficiency in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and grinders; CNC machinery is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately; experience with schematics related to electrical or plumbing systems is desirable.
Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material fabrication techniques.
Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations (OSHA standards), and industry best practices for site safety.
Experience working on construction sites involving heavy lifting; knowledge of rebar installation and concrete forming is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt plans during project execution while maintaining quality standards.
