Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a range of practical skills and be comfortable working in various environments. This role involves assisting with construction, maintenance, and repair tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others are essential.

Responsibilities

Assist in the construction and maintenance of buildings and structures. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Perform electrical tasks as required, including wiring and installations. Engage in welding activities for metal fabrication. Support plumbing tasks, including installation and repairs. Carry out masonry work as needed for structural integrity. Participate in roofing projects, ensuring proper installation and safety measures. Execute painting duties to enhance aesthetics and protect surfaces. Fabricate components as directed by supervisors or project leads. Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople to complete projects on time.

Experience

Previous experience in a labouring role or related field is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and safety protocols is advantageous. Skills in electrical work, welding, plumbing, masonry, roofing, painting, fabrication, or carpentry will be considered a strong asset. A willingness to learn new skills and techniques is essential for this position. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
