Martin Hool Construction are currently recruiting for a

General Builder/Labourer

in the

Ulverston

area. This would be perfect for someone that likes to be outdoors and would like to gain some amazing experience in the construction industry.

We are a small construction company based in the South Lakes and have more than 20 years of direct experience in delivering excellent barn restorations, groundworks, domestic & commercial renovations and associated works - all with a smile.

We are looking for someone with a great attitude and that takes pride in their work, is hard working, reliable, punctual, respectful & a great team player. You must be prepared to be hands on, capable of using your own initiative with great communication skills & have the ability to work confidently & safely at heights.

Your day-to-day takes may include:

General Labouring All aspects of joinery work (if skilled) Keeping site tidy Assisting trades Manual Handling duties Carrying out instructions given to you by the Site Manager Working from advice or drawings Complying with Health and Safety regulations
If you have not worked in construction and would like a change in career, training would be given to an enthusiastic individual.An ideal candidate would need to have their own transport and a full clean UK driving licence. There is potential for the correct individual to get a van after the probation period.
