We are seeking to appoint a General Catering Assistant. This is a hospitality role, helping to support the College's busy Catering Team in providing smooth service to staff and students. The Post
We are seeking a proactive, professional and friendly colleague to join our Catering Team and assist with a range of activities, both behind the scenes food preparation and front of house customer service.
The Catering Team, located across two kitchens within the College site, offers a diverse selection of meticulously prepared hot and cold food and drinks, serving both our staff and students. With a commitment to excellence, the team delivers a seamless and professional service that adheres to the highest standards. In addition to catering to the daily needs of the college community, the team also provide first-class hospitality services for various events.
The Catering Team oversees the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas, ensuring a tidy, hygienic and well-maintained environment. As an integral part of the College Support Team, they also help in the upkeep and presentation of the seating areas, ensuring a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
One role is available for 19.5 hours per week worked between 9am-4pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The other role is available for 25 hours per week worked 11am-3pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 9am-4pm Thursday, Friday.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 12.34 per hour
