Celtic Catering is a dynamic and customer-focused catering service known for high-quality food and excellent service. We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and reliable General Catering Assistant to join our team.

Job Summary:


As a General Catering Assistant, you will support the catering team with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining hygiene standards, and ensuring a smooth-running kitchen and service area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about food and customer service.

Hours of work:

35 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7

Key Responsibilities:



Assist with basic food preparation and serving Ensure cleanliness of kitchen, service areas, and dining areas Operate kitchen equipment safely and in accordance with instructions Wash up dishes and utensils promptly and efficiently Stock and replenish food and drink items as required Comply with food hygiene and health & safety regulations Provide excellent customer service at all times Follow instructions from the Catering Manager

Requirements:



Previous experience in a similar catering or kitchen assistant role (desirable but not essential) Basic food hygiene certificate (or willingness to obtain) Good communication and teamwork skills Friendly, positive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment Flexibility
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 22,640.80 per year

Work Location: In person
