Due to the investment in a new facility, we're looking for a general cleaner to work as part of our Bodyshop Team in our fabrication workshop and paint shop facilities at Carlisle Airport.

Duties of the role will be to ensure that the cleaning, maintenance, and good housekeeping of the body shop and fabrication workshops is of a high standard. You will also be responsible for ensuring the rest areas and the toilets are cleaned on a regular basis.

Hours: of work are on a rotational shift pattern of 06:00am - 14:30pm and 13.00pm - 21.00pm includes some Saturdays.

Key Responsibilities:

To ensure that the Bodyshop's, the fabrication workshop, the Bodyshop yard, the rest areas and the toilets are cleaned on a regular basis.

To ensure that you are taking reasonable care of your own health and safety while performing your duties at work.

To provide assistance to other employees in both the fabrication workshop and Bodyshop as requested.

To ensure that you are taking reasonable care not to endanger other employees, visitors or members of the public.

To ensure that storage and cleaning techniques carried out by you are safe to the best of your knowledge.

To use equipment and tools correctly and for the purpose which they were designed.

To report any dangerous occurrences to the Bodyshop Manager immediately.

To ensure that the Bodyshop, fabrication workshop, the fabrication stores and the yard are cleaned to a high standard.
