Loft and Garage conversion specialists based in Nottingham and surrounding areas. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Construction Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site. Full driving license and own vehicle is essential for this role.

Duties

Assist with the preparation and clean-up of construction sites. Carry out manual labour tasks, including lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Follow instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople to complete tasks as required. Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the assembly and disassembly of scaffolding, forms, and other structures. Participate in the loading and unloading of materials from lorries.

Experience

Previous experience in construction or a related field is advantageous but not essential; we welcome candidates eager to learn. Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is preferred. A valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card is beneficial but not mandatory at the time of application. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential. A good level of physical fitness is required to perform manual tasks effectively. Excellent time keeping is essential. This role is on a self-employed/sub contractor basis, CIS registration is required. Full driving licence is essential for this role.
