The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality dental care and will be adept at diagnosing and treating various dental conditions. The role requires excellent communication skills and a thorough understanding of dental procedures. A portfolio of work is desired and a minimum of 2 years' experience from graduation.
Key Responsibilities/Duties
Provide a full range of general dental services, including preventative care (e.g., examinations, cleanings, fluoride treatments), restorative dentistry (e.g. fillings, crowns, bridges), and extractions.
Diagnose and treat dental diseases and conditions accurately and effectively.
Develop and maintain comprehensive patient records, adhering to all regulatory requirements.
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining treatment options clearly and answering questions thoroughly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
Work collaboratively with the dental team (hygienists, nurses, receptionists) to ensure smooth and efficient practice operations.
Participate in practice meetings and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Stay current with the latest advancements in dental techniques and technologies through continuing professional development (CPD).
Adhere to all GDC guidelines and regulations.
Manage patient appointments and scheduling.
Assist with administrative tasks as needed
Requirement
GDC registration (essential).
DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
More than 2 years of experience in providing comprehensive general dental care.
Excellent clinical skills and judgment.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills.
Proficiency in using dental technology and software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Commitment to continuing professional development.
Experience with specific dental technologies (e.g., digital radiography, CAD/CAM dentistry).
Bilingual skills.
