We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Supervisor to help us build the Future of Heat Exchanger Manufacturing in the North East of England.

At Vestas aircoil, we're known for designing and producing some of the most reliable heat exchangers in the world-and we're just getting started.

Right now, we're expanding. A brand-new production facility is being established in Teesside, UK, and we're on the lookout for the right person to help us shape it from the ground up.

Could you be our new Foreman?

Your Role

This isn't your average foreman position. You'll work closely with our General Manager and colleagues from across our global sites to set up and launch operations in Teesside. From designing the shop floor layout to building a strong and capable team, your impact will be felt from day one.

You'll be hands-on--leading by example, solving problems, and helping the team succeed. We're looking for someone who enjoys both the technical and people side of things.

Task wise the role will entail:

Leading and supporting technicians on the shop floor

Planning resources and ensuring efficient, high-quality output

Driving 5S activities and continuous improvement culture

Managing disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of heat exchangers

Performing hydrostatic and pneumatic testing

Welding (TIG, MIG, STICK) on a variety of materials

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and P&IDs

Collaborating with Engineering, QA/QC, and Production

Ensuring safety and quality standards are always met
