Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced GF to work on a major civil engineering project.

Site Foreman Responsibilities

Ensure all operatives are working safely and efficiently on site. Manage the availability of plant, materials, and resources in line with programme requirements. Supervise works independently or as part of the wider management team. Oversee excavation around buried services safely and correctly. Drive site performance in Quality, Health & Safety, and Productivity. Read and interpret project programmes, converting them into day-to-day work plans. Demonstrate expert knowledge in all aspects of groundworks (drainage, foundations, roads, slabs, earthworks, externals, etc.). Maintain strong commercial awareness of site activities. Manage subcontractors effectively and liaise confidently with clients and engineers. Read and interpret construction drawings accurately. General Expectations: Reliable, punctual, and professional. Able to work collaboratively with other trades to support on-time delivery. Must have the right to work in the UK. must be able to complete ITP paperwork in assistance of the site manager
Essential Qualification:

Must hold SMSTS (or SSSTS for Foreman level may be considered
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 250.00 per day

Experience:

foreman: 5 years (preferred) groundworks: 5 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

SSSTS (preferred) SMSTS (preferred)
Work Location: In person
