Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Handy Man to join our team, responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across various facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in electrical systems, plumbing, and general maintenance. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent customer service skills, capable of supervising projects and leading small teams when necessary.

Duties

Carry out repairs and maintenance on buildings, fixtures, and equipment. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to execute repairs accurately. Perform welding tasks as required for structural or aesthetic repairs. Conduct electrical work including installations, troubleshooting, and repairs. Provide mechanical maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance. Supervise and coordinate with other tradespeople or contractors on larger projects. Maintain a clean and safe working environment while adhering to health and safety regulations. Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.

Skills

Proficient in working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks. Strong understanding of schematics for effective troubleshooting and repairs. Experience in welding techniques for various materials. Solid electrical experience including wiring, circuit testing, and installations. Comprehensive mechanical knowledge to handle diverse maintenance tasks. Proven experience in general maintenance practices across different facilities. Fluent in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Previous supervising experience is advantageous for managing projects efficiently. Strong customer service orientation to ensure client satisfaction.
