General Joiner

As a well-established construction company in the Windermere area an opportunity has arisen for an experienced and reliable general joiner to join our team.

The position requires working on a mixture of high-quality new builds, sympathetic restorations of period cottages, holiday lets and bespoke joinery. If you love great craftsmanship and don't mind a scenic commute, this is the job for you.

Duties

First and second-fix joinery on domestic and light commercial projects Installing doors, skirting, architraves, staircases and fitted kitchens/cabinetry Bespoke on-site finishing/repairs for cottages and holiday properties Reading and working from drawings and specifications

Requirements

Qualified in Carpentry/Joinery (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) or demonstrable experience. Good attention to detail and a pride in a high finish Ability to investigate and repair using your own initiative Full clean UK driving licence (with no bans within the last 10 years) is essential as use of a company van is required. You must be able to prove your eligibility to work in the UK

Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday between 8:00am - 4:30pm

A valid CSCS card is preferred but not essential.
