Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food safety procedures to ensure all dishes meet quality standards Support chefs and kitchen staff in the organisation of ingredients and supplies Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning as required Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, utensils, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations Help with serving food to customers or guests as needed Restock supplies and ensure the kitchen area remains tidy throughout shifts Follow all food safety standards and hygiene protocols diligently

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates Basic knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under supervision in a fast-paced environment Strong organisational skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Enthusiasm for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills
