This role is ideal for someone who enjoys preparing light meals, baking cakes and treats, and supporting our carers in creating a warm, homely atmosphere for our residents.

Duties

Assist in meal preparation and baking Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and utensils Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards Support catering events by preparing food items as required Serve meals to customers in a friendly and efficient manner Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and reporting shortages

Skills

Previous experience in a kitchen is preferred Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a busy setting Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Experience in meal preparation and cooking techniques Familiarity with catering services is an advantage Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and customers
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.82 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
