We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working, reliable and flexible individual to work in a busy fast paced kitchen. Candidate needs to have previous kitchen experience, Candidate needs an up to date food handling certificate from an external governing body.
You will be required to work under the chef manager, carrying out any requested tasks.
Main duties.
Operating an industrial dish washer along with pot washing.
Collecting dirty dishes from the kitchen and restaurant.
Putting clean dishes away.
Storing deliveries whilst ensuring stock is rotated.
General kitchen duties.
Kitchen cleaning to a detailed cleaning schedule which is documented and signed to meet company and food safety standards.
Other duties may include.
Occasional food handling.
Occasionally serving customers and making coffee on a barista machine.
Re-stocking products.
This list of duties can change on a daily basis, list of duties is not exhaustive.
This post is a 30 hour contract at a minimum, the candidate will be required to work overtime and needs to be flexible up to 39 hrs.
Hours are
Monday- 7.30am and 3.00pm.
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday- 7.30am-2.30pm
Friday - 7.30am -3.00pm/ 7.30am-11.30am alternates every week.
Please note that this position requires standing for long periods of time and lifting heavy objects.
