Kitchen Porter / Kitchen Assistant

Role Overview

We're looking for a reliable Kitchen Porter / Assistant to support our kitchen team. The role mainly involves washing dishes, keeping the kitchen clean and organised, assisting with basic food preparation, and handling laundry duties.

Key Responsibilities

Washing plates, glasses, utensils, and kitchen equipment Keeping the kitchen, wash-up areas, and storage spaces clean and tidy Assisting with basic food preparation (e.g. peeling, chopping, portioning) Organising kitchen equipment and storage areas Handling kitchen laundry (washing, drying, and folding items such as cloths, aprons, and uniforms) Taking out rubbish and recycling Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods
What We're Looking For

A positive attitude and willingness to help Ability to work well as part of a team Good attention to cleanliness and organisation Reliability and punctuality Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not essential
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 24 per week
