We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support our friendly team in delivering high-quality food services. Duties

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with menu specifications Support the cooking process under supervision, ensuring quality standards are met Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen workstations and equipment Help with food safety procedures, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices Prepare ingredients and assist with basic cooking tasks as directed by senior staff Serve food to customers or staff in a courteous and efficient manner Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring smooth kitchen operations

Skills

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is advantageous Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to assist with meal preparation and food handling efficiently Good organisational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Experience in serving food or customer service is a plus Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to various kitchen tasks

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
