We are currently recruiting for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team.

Full hours/shifts to be discussed at interview, however a typical working week (across 7 days including weekends and bank holidays) would involve shift work which vary from 7am-6pm, 7am-2pm and 1pm-6pm

Duties will include:

Preparing and serving light breakfasts and meals to our residents Assisting residents in the dining room General kitchen assistant duties Maintaining health and hygiene standards in the kitchen Providing drinks for our residents via trolley service around the home Greeting residents and their families Experience in the healthcare sector is desirable, but not essential You will be flexible to cover a variety of shifts, and willing and able to work weekends on a rotational basis Supporting the Head Chef with ad-hoc duties as required Due to the nature of this post, a referenceable work history is required along with an enhanced DBS disclosure Preferably, you will hold at least a Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene Certificate and great understanding of Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points.

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 21 - 36 per week
