We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join us. Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients. preparing breakfasts and light lunches on working days Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Support chefs and cooks in cooking and plating dishes as required. Help with the serving of meals to customers or guests during events or busy service periods. Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen setting is preferred, including roles in catering or restaurants. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential. Experience with meal preparation and cooking techniques will be advantageous. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills are highly valued. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work efficiently under pressure are important for success in this role.
