Role Overview

Due to the continued success and growth of our Facilities Management division we currently have an opportunity for a

General Labourer

to join the Project Team. The candidate will work as part of a Building Works team, carrying out works across our wide range of Framework Contracts, providing excellent service to our clients.

What you'll do

The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:

Work on Minor Works projects carrying out general building labourer duties such as, decorative repairs, flooring preparation, plastering patch repairs, tiling, cleaning, waste management, demolition works, core drilling, cutting openings. To be proactive in managing and undertaking work and be client focused in the delivery of the work. Working in line with company Health & Safety Policy, Rules and Quality Assurance procedures. Proactive approach to delivering projects in an efficient and effective manner. High standard of housekeeping, material handling and safety at all times. Clean and clear works area following completion. Ensure that each job is completed snag free and to client's satisfaction. Take 'before' and 'after' photos of each job and process onto task management systems. Maintain and update the company Mobile Management Information Systems. Representing the company in a competent and professional manner Compliance with the Client's Building Estates Rules and Regulations. Other duties may be required from time to time depending on the needs of the business

Completion of tasks on time and to the required standards Client/Customer satisfaction for all tasks

What you'll bring

As a General Labourer your main skills and experience will include:

Essential Criteria

Able to demonstrate relevant building labourer works training or equivalent experience. Significant relevant experience carrying out general labourer works duties detailed above. Good attention to detail. Experience working as part of a building team to complete projects. Have excellent knowledge of safe and effective working. Have great communication skills. Be able to work on your own initiative with a flexible and problem-solving approach. Possess a full valid driving license.
Desirable

Experience working within a hospital maintenance environment. Working Knowledge of Mobile Management Information Systems.
