Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role is essential in maintaining a productive work environment and requires a strong work ethic and commitment to quality.

Duties

Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Carry out general site maintenance and cleaning tasks. Operate basic machinery and tools as required, following safety protocols. Support skilled tradespeople in their duties, providing assistance where needed. Follow instructions from supervisors to ensure tasks are completed accurately. Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment. Report any hazards or incidents to management promptly.

Skills

Strong physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour for extended periods. Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment is advantageous. Good communication skills, both verbal and written, to follow instructions effectively. Ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required. Attention to detail with a focus on safety practices. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
