Responsibilities

Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment Supporting the transportation of supplies around the site using manual handling techniques or basic machinery Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency Assisting tradespeople and supervisors with their tasks as required Supporting site safety protocols by identifying hazards and reporting concerns promptly Performing general labouring duties such as digging, lifting, and moving items as directed Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Skills

Good physical fitness with the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a construction or industrial environment Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing work demands Previous experience in labouring or construction is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory
