Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to support daily operations in our blow moulding production facility. This role plays a vital part in maintaining cleanliness, safety, and efficiency on the production floor. The ideal candidate will assist with housekeeping, labelling, packaging, reprocessing scrap material, and other general tasks as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe working environment, including sweeping, emptying bins, and organising workspaces.

Label and package finished plastic products according to company standards and customer requirements.

Assist in the reprocessing of scrap plastic (grinding, sorting, returning material for reuse).

Load and unload products and raw materials as directed.

Monitor and report any product quality issues or equipment malfunctions to supervisors.

Assist machine operators with basic tasks and support smooth production flow.

Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE (personal protective equipment).

Participate in team meetings and training as needed.

Perform other general labour duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Qualifications and Skills:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or plastics production environment is an asset but not required.

Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Able to lift and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, noisy environment.

Willingness to work flexible hours or overtime when required.

Good communication and team skills.

Commitment to health and safety protocols.

Working Conditions:

Exposure to industrial machinery, heat, and plastic fumes.

Requires standing, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.

Use of PPE such as gloves, ear protection, and safety glasses required.

Pay: 13.33 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
