Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting our construction environment, ensuring the efficient handling of materials and products. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Load, unload, and move building materials, tools, and equipment around the site. Organise materials and ensure they are readily available for tradespeople, minimizing downtime. Carry out heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury. Operate basic site machinery and tools (e.g., compactors, breakers, trenchers) where trained and permitted. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain high standards of quality.

Requirements

Previous experience in groundworks or general construction labouring is preferred. CPCS or NPORS ticket beneficial for plant operation (if applicable). Full UK driving licence preferred (depending on site mobility needs). Familiarity with construction codes, health and safety regulations, and building standards. A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving is essential.
