Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, proactive, and capable of performing a variety of manual tasks across our site.

Responsibilities



Empty bins in all areas of production maintaining the correct environmental waste streams (regularly) Empty recycle bins maintaining the correct environmental waste streams (regularly) Regularly maintain a satisfactory level of cleanliness within the factory walkways and communal areas Empty SWARF bins (regularly) Maintain tidiness of outside areas including weeding and car park markings (regularly) Support production with forklift duties and moving WIP (occasional) Assist the Logistics Assistant in clearing outside walkways such as ice with rock salt, fallen leaves etc (Seasonal)

Requirements



Previous experience in a labouring is advantageous but not essential Good suitability for the role with the ability to perform manual tasks for extended periods Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required Basic understanding of health and safety procedures. Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and quality A valid UK driving licence is desirable but not mandatory Experience on Counter-balance Fork Lift truck is desirable but not essential, however successful candidate will need to attend training for use of FLT as part of daily role.

Part time role:

Mon-Thurs 20 hours (exact times negotiable, however around 9.30-2.30 daily)

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-12.51 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
