Role Overview
Due to the continued success and growth of our Facilities Management division we currently have an opportunity for a General Labourer to join the GB Operations Team. The candidate will work as part of a Building Works team, carrying out works across our range of Contracts, providing excellent service to our clients.
What you'll do
The following reflect the main tasks associated with your position and are not intended to be exclusive or exhaustive:
Work on the installation of kitchens and bathrooms that you will be delivering as part of a team
Where required perform repairs ensuring works meet the highest standards
Assisting in the delivery of works to each specific project
Self-manage workload in an efficient manner to meet timeframes for delivery.
Collaborate with H&J Martin Supervisor and other tradespeople, such as plumbers, joiners and electricians, to ensure seamless installation processes.
Inspect completed work to ensure it meets industry standards and client expectation
Address any defects or issues identified
Adhere to all health and safety regulations on-site.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their requirements and provide progress updates.
Ensure correct signing in on sites, completion or correct reports for each installation
Maintain and update the company Mobile Management Information Systems for all work.
What you'll bring
As a General Labourer your main skills and experience will include:
Essential Criteria
Able to demonstrate relevant building labourer works training or equivalent experience.
Significant relevant experience carrying out general labourer works duties detailed in Key Duties above.
Good attention to detail
Experience working as part of a building team to complete projects.
Have excellent knowledge of safe and effective working
Have great communication skills
Be able to work on your own initiative with a flexible and problem-solving approach
Possess a full valid driving license
Desirable Criteria
Experience working within a hospital maintenance environment.
Working Knowledge of Mobile Management Information Systems.
