Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join our team for the duration of a 5 storey self storage fitout project (internal works). The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting various operational tasks across our site, ensuring smooth workflow and maintaining safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop practical skills within a dynamic working environment, contributing to the successful completion of projects and daily operations.

Responsibilities

Assist with loading and unloading materials, equipment, and supplies as required. Support the preparation of work sites, including clearing debris and setting up necessary equipment. Carry out general manual labour tasks such as lifting, moving, and positioning materials safely. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas to uphold health and safety standards. Follow instructions from supervisors regarding specific tasks and project requirements. Operate basic tools and machinery with proper training and supervision. Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times to minimise risks on site.

Experience

Previous experience in manual labour or construction environments is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Good physical fitness with the ability to perform physically demanding tasks over extended periods. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to manual work environments. Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks as required. Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: 12.21-20.09 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
