General Labourer

Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Labourer to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of manual tasks on job sites, including loading and unloading materials, preparing work areas, and supporting skilled tradespeople. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes direction well, and values safety and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform physical labour tasks such as digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials Assist tradespeople with duties such as mixing, pouring, and spreading materials Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris and ensuring a safe work environment Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision Follow instructions from supervisors to complete daily tasks Maintain tools and equipment in good condition Adhere to all company and site safety policies and procedures
Requirements:
Previous experience in general labour or construction (preferred but not essential) Physically capable of lifting up to [insert weight] lbs and performing repetitive tasks Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions Reliable transportation to and from job sites Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in outdoor environments and may involve exposure to elements May require standing, bending, kneeling, or lifting for extended periods Overtime or weekend work may be required depending on project needs
