Overview

We are seeking a diligent and physically capable Labourer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction, maintenance, and site preparation activities. The ideal candidate will be reliable, adaptable, and eager to contribute to a dynamic working environment. Previous experience is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the construction and manual labour sectors.

Duties

Assisting with loading and unloading materials and equipment on-site Preparing work areas by clearing debris and setting up necessary tools and materials Supporting skilled tradespeople with tasks such as mixing, lifting, and positioning materials Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times Maintaining cleanliness of the work site and ensuring tools are stored correctly after use Assisting with basic repairs or maintenance tasks as directed Following instructions accurately to complete assigned tasks efficiently

Qualifications

Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy objects safely Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Basic understanding of health and safety procedures in a manual labour environment Previous experience in construction or labouring roles is desirable but not mandatory Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training as required

Pay: 12.21-16.00 per hour
