Responsibilities
Assist with loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
Support the organisation and tidiness of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
Carry out manual handling tasks, including lifting, moving, and positioning materials or equipment
Prepare sites for upcoming work by clearing debris or obstacles
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks
Support skilled tradespeople with their tasks as required
Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and report any faults or damages
Skills
Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labour over extended periods
Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
Ability to work well within a team environment
Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or similar roles is advantageous but not essential
Basic understanding of health and safety practices on site
