The role is a temporary role for a period of 3months

This role operates on a two-week rotating shift pattern

Two weeks of day shift: 6am - 4pm (Monday -Thursday) & 6am - 2pm (Friday)

Two weeks of back shift: 4pm - 2am (Mon-Thursday)

The contracted hours are 37.5 per week anything additional is paid in overtime rate.

Day rate: 12.80 PH (Overtime is paid at time and a half)

Back Shift: 15.36 PH (Overtime is paid at time and a half)

Role Overview

We are seeking a professional, honest, and hard-working individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work and will contribute positively to our strong team culture. As a General Labourer, you will support the day-to-day operations within our busy and fast-paced manufacturing facility. You will assist with lifting and handling materials for the CNC laser machines and press brakes, help keep production running smoothly, and maintain a clean and safe workspace.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting CNC laser and press brake operators with lifting, loading, and general
tasks

Working in a fast-paced production environment Operating a forklift to move materials safely (must hold a valid, in-date licence) Loading and unloading materials, components, and finished products Sorting, deburring, and preparing metal parts Using handheld tools daily to assemble parts Moving stock around the workshop using manual handling equipment Keeping work areas clean, tidy, and safe Supporting the wider production team wherever required Following all health & safety procedures

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Good physical fitness for manual lifting Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Ability to follow instructions and work safely Valid, in-date forklift licence Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment Use of hand tools and basic workshop equipment Ability to provide two references from the last three years You will be required to do a CRB and full driving license check Full clean driving license and transport due to shift patterns GCSE or equivalent education

Desirable (Training Can Be Provided):

Familiarity with CNC laser cutting, metal pressing, or fabrication Overhead crane experience
