Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled 7.5 Tonne Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient loading and delivery of finished aluminium windows / doors / glass to various locations within Northern Ireland & Ireland, ensuring that all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with company standards. When not driving the role would require the individual to carry out some general tasks within the factory. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong understanding of vehicle operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

Operate a 7.5 tonne vehicle for the delivery of goods to designated locations. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of cargo, from flat bed lorry Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and vehicle logs. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers to coordinate delivery schedules. Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies while driving. Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing any queries or concerns from clients.

Experience

Previous experience as a delivery driver or van driver is essential. Familiarity with flatbed operations is advantageous. A valid C1 commercial driving licence is required, along with a clean driving record. Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance is preferred. Driver CPC card advantageous Driver Digital Tachograph card advantageous
