Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support our operations, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, and the ability to follow instructions closely.

Responsibilities

Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment. Perform general site maintenance and cleaning duties to ensure a safe working environment. Operate basic hand tools and machinery as required, following all safety protocols. Support skilled tradespeople in their tasks, providing assistance as needed. Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to company policies and procedures. Maintain an organised work area, ensuring that tools and materials are stored correctly. Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a labouring role is advantageous but not essential. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on site. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as required. A valid driver's licence is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Temp to perm

Pay: 17.00-17.50 per hour
