Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled General Maintenance worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a diverse set of maintenance skills and be able to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Duties

- Conduct general maintenance tasks such as repairing equipment, fixtures, and structures
- Assist the maintenance manager with the upkeeping of the Home
- Basic electric and plumbing
- Utilise mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and fix issues promptly
- Maintain a high standard of workmanship in all tasks
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff and external contractors-

- Painting and decorating

- General repair work

- Record keeping, gardening and stock control

Requirements

- Basic electric and plumbing skills
- Will need to cover for holidays and will be on call alternative weekends
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively
- Good command of English for clear communication
- Prior experience in general maintenance is advantageous

Hours

- Fridays only between 8.30am and 4.30pm

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
