Job Title: General Maintenance Operative

Location: Fantasy Island, Sea Lane, Skegness, PE25 1RH

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: from 12.21 - 15.50 per hour based on experience

Minimum 37.5 hours per week guaranteed

Role summary

As a General Maintenance Operative, you'll be the engine that keeps Fantasy Island running smoothly. You'll carry out planned maintenance tasks and respond to breakdowns across mechanical and electrical areas, ensuring guests' safety and minimal downtime.

Key duties

Perform daily checks and preventive maintenance on rides and attractions Tackle basic mechanical repairs, lubrication and adjustments Assist with electrical fault finding, replacing components and testing circuits Swiftly respond to callouts to get attractions back in service Report larger issues to senior technicians and help with parts preparation
You will have

Previous workshop or site-based maintenance experience (mechanical or electrical) Basic hand-tool skills and familiarity with mechanical and electrical equipment Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities Readiness to cover weekends and bank holidays
