Location: Arbor Forest Products Ltd, New Holland
Working hours: 39 hrs per week 7.00am - 3.00pm, Friday 7.00am - 2.00pm
Salary: 30,000 - 33,000 per annum, depends on experience
Permanent role from day one.
Day shift only, 8hrs per day, on morning shift, early finish on Friday

We are looking for a
practical, enthusiastic and motivated Maintenance Operative
to join our team in New Holland. This is a full-time role working 39 hours per week on days, supporting the smooth running of our site and ensuring buildings and facilities are well maintained.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Carrying out maintenance and light repairs to site buildings on both a reactive and planned basis.
Perform routine landscaping on the grounds as required
Assisting the engineering team with electrical and mechanical repairs.
Supporting the organisation of the engineering stores, keeping systems logical, tidy and efficient.
Assisting with installation of appliances and equipment
Ensuring all work is completed to health and safety standards
Accurately log all work completed, maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities
Supporting general maintenance and upkeep of site facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and operational workplace.
Other duties and responsibilities expressed and implied which arise from the nature and character of the role within the department.
Skills & Knowledge:
Hands-on experience within Engineering or Construction.
Building maintenance skills - woodworking, plumbing, painting/decorating, etc.
Very good communication skills
Experience of use of hand and power tools
Excellent organisational, time management and people skills.
