Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in maintenance tasks, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various systems. This role requires a proactive approach to ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards, contributing to a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality. Troubleshoot and repair issues related to electrical systems, mechanical components, and programmable logic controllers. Read and interpret schematics to assist in diagnosing problems and implementing solutions. Conduct welding tasks as required for repairs or installations. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with staff or external parties regarding maintenance issues. Supervise junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership as needed.

Experience

Proven experience in general maintenance, with a strong mechanical knowledge base. Familiarity with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques is essential. Experience with programmable logic controllers is highly desirable. Previous supervisory experience is an advantage, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a team environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are required for effective collaboration. A customer service-oriented mindset is crucial for addressing the needs of internal clients effectively.
