We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various maintenance tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems. Duties

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics. Conduct welding tasks as required for repairs and installations. Utilise electrical experience to maintain and repair electrical systems. Apply mechanical knowledge to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies. Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed. Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests from staff or clients. Lead projects aimed at improving facility operations and safety standards.

Qualifications

Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong emphasis on electrical and mechanical systems. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and ability to read schematics. Proficient in welding techniques and practices. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems effectively. Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, for clear communication with team members and clients. Previous supervising experience is advantageous, demonstrating leadership capabilities within a team environment. A customer service-oriented attitude, ensuring that all interactions are professional and helpful.
