TfL General Management

Level 6

''It is the opportunity offered by this scheme which sets itself apart. The General Management scheme facilitates choice throughout, allowing successful applicants to pursue their desired career in an area of TfL which most aligns with their ambitions. The experience I got from working at TfL for four years before assuming my post-graduate role in Corporate Finance means I know how the business works, and I have colleagues throughout the organisation which I call upon to this day'' - Joe, General Management Apprentice

''As a General Management apprentice at TfL, I've discovered that what I value most is the flexibility built into the scheme. Every new placement gives me the opportunity to bring insights from the different parts of the organisation I've had the privilege to experience.

I've gone from working on the London Cable Cars, to getting stuck into major brand collaborations like Uniqlo within the Brand Licensing team, to supporting this very apprenticeship campaign in the Early Careers team, and even managing a station control room as a Customer Service Supervisor.

Each placement genuinely immerses you in a different corner of the business, both operational and officebased. Experiencing TfL from so many different perspectives really makes you appreciate just how many opportunities the General Management apprenticeship opens up.'' - Sofia, General Management Apprentice
