We are searching for an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a very strong background in hospitality and food service, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. This role requires a hands-on approach to management, ensuring that all aspects of the business run smoothly and efficiently.

Duties

Lead and manage all operational aspects of the establishment, including front-of-house and back-of-house operations. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Develop and implement effective strategies for team management, fostering a positive work environment that encourages collaboration and growth. Oversee staff training in bartending, food preparation, and customer service to enhance overall service quality. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods. Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Prepare reports on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote events and special offers, driving business growth.

Requirements

Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality or restaurant industry is essential. Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Bartending experience is highly desirable, along with a solid understanding of beverage service. Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with customers and staff alike.
