General Manager

to lead our team and drive the next stage of our success.

The Role



As General Manager, you'll be responsible for

overseeing and managing all aspects of Cafe 100's daily operations

.
You'll report directly to the Managing Director and play a key role in ensuring the cafe runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably -- maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and team culture.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead, motivate, and support the cafe team to deliver an outstanding customer experience every day. Oversee all daily operations -- front of house, kitchen coordination, stock control, and cleanliness. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations. Manage scheduling, training, and performance of staff. Monitor sales performance, costs, and margins, and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency. Uphold and continuously improve Cafe 100's service standards and reputation. Collaborate with the Managing Director on marketing, promotions, and new menu or service ideas. Handle customer feedback and resolve any operational issues proactively

About You



You'll be an energetic, organised, and passionate leader who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Essential skills & experience:



Proven experience as a Cafe, Restaurant, or Hospitality Manager. Strong people management and communication skills. A hands-on, service-driven approach with excellent attention to detail. Sound understanding of stock control, budgeting, and operational KPIs. Commitment to maintaining top-tier standards of food, service, and cleanliness. Positive attitude and ability to inspire a team.

Desirable:



Experience in a busy cafe, brunch venue, or casual dining setting. Knowledge of digital ordering platforms such as Deliveroo, JustEat, or UberEats. Barista or front-of-house experience.
