Duties
Lead and supervise all aspects of restaurant or hotel operations, ensuring high standards of service and quality.
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food production processes to maintain consistency and excellence.
Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to foster a motivated and efficient team.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and health & safety standards across all departments.
Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimise profitability.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency.
Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to uphold excellent service standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff, serving personnel, and other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes hospitality and customer satisfaction.
Skills
Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Strong team management capabilities with excellent leadership qualities.
Extensive restaurant experience including food preparation, cooking, serving, and food safety practices.
Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes.
Experience in hotel or barista roles is advantageous but not essential.
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
Excellent communication skills to motivate staff and engage with customers professionally.
Familiarity with health & safety regulations relevant to food service environments.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team towards achieving operational excellence in a fast-paced setting.
