Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and dynamic

General Manager

to oversee the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This role involves managing teams, ensuring food safety standards, and maintaining high-quality food production and service. The successful applicant will be responsible for driving operational excellence, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction across all departments.

Duties



Lead and supervise all restaurant including food preparation, cooking, serving, and overall guest experience. Manage and motivate staff, including team management and supervising experience to ensure high performance standards. Oversee food safety compliance and maintain strict adherence to health regulations. Coordinate food production processes, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation. Develop and implement operational policies to optimise efficiency and profitability. Monitor inventory levels and oversee procurement of supplies, including kitchen equipment and ingredients. Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly to uphold excellent service standards. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop menus that meet customer preferences while maintaining cost controls. Organise staff training programmes to enhance skills in food safety, culinary techniques, and hospitality services. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in line with hygiene standards. Maintain a positive working environment that promotes teamwork, leadership, and professional development.

Qualifications



Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Extensive restaurant experience with a strong background in food preparation, cooking, serving, or kitchen operations. Knowledge of food safety regulations and standards. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively. Experience in food production management or culinary roles is highly desirable. Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure. Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
