Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Oversight
Manage daily operations across all departments: golf course, clubhouse, food & beverage, pro shop, and events.
Coordinate with department heads (e.g., Course Superintendent, Head Chef, Club Professional).
Ensure smooth functioning of tee time bookings, tournaments, and member services.
2. Financial Management
Develop and monitor annual budgets.
Oversee revenue streams: memberships, green fees, retail, catering, and events.
Implement cost-control measures and procurement practices.
Prepare financial reports for the board or ownership group2.
3. Strategic Leadership
Contribute to long-term planning and club development.
Align operations with the club's mission, values, and strategic goals.
Lead initiatives in sustainability, digital transformation, and member engagement.
4. Member & Guest Experience
Foster a welcoming, high-quality experience for members and visitors.
Handle feedback, complaints, and suggestions with diplomacy.
Develop programs to enhance member retention and satisfaction.
5. Staff Management
Recruit, train, and supervise staff across all departments.
Promote a positive work culture and ensure HR compliance.
Conduct performance reviews and support professional development.
6. Facility & Course Management
Liaise with the Course Superintendent to maintain and improve course conditions.
Oversee clubhouse maintenance, technology systems, and capital projects.
Ensure health, safety, and legal compliance across all facilities.
7. Marketing & Community Relations
Promote the club via website, social media, and partnerships.
Build relationships with local businesses, tourism boards, and golf associations.
Organize events to attract new members and increase visibility.
